What to expect:
Restylane enhances your appearance by providing additional volume and fullness to your skin. Using a fine needle, Dr. Bajaj carefully injects small amounts of Restylane gel beneath the surface of your skin. This specially designed compound instantly adds volume, fullness, and shape to your face, filling in wrinkles and lines, and helping you achieve a more rejuvenated appearance.
If you are over 21 years old, Restylane may also be used as an effective form of lip enhancement. In this case, Dr. Bajaj injects the Restylane gel into the target areas of your lips to instantly give them the increased plumpness you desire.
After Restylane injection, your body will slowly and naturally absorb the product. Because of this, the results achieved through a Restylane injection should last anywhere from six to 18 months, depending on the location of the injection.
Recovery:
Immediately following a Restylane injection, you may experience some slight soreness, swelling, itching, or redness at injection sites. These side effects should be fairly mild and will subside within a few days. After a Restylane injection for lip enhancement, your lips may be sore and swollen for up to a week following treatment.
The full benefits of your treatment will become increasingly apparent as swelling goes away..
