Recovery:
The post-treatment phase varies depending on the depth of your peel. After a light or medium chemical peel, your skin will begin to flake and peel for several days. Remember to wear sun protection during this time and follow the doctor's instructions about skin care.
After a deep chemical peel, expect more redness and some scabbing. You will need to limit your activities for several days as the skin heals. Your skin will be very sensitive, so remember to apply ointment as directed and protect your skin from sun exposure.
